Blu Dot is a furniture design and manufacturing company who’s that offers a high end product at an accessible price. Their tagline, “design you can actually afford” speaks directly to consumers who appreciate smart well-designed furniture, but perhaps are without the discretionary income to buy.
The primary objectives were to create a modular and easily updated catalog that would effectively/efficiently identify their brand. The solution, was an orange binder with each product-line on its own 3-hole punch accordion folded section. This would allow future additions to be printed and added with ease to the end of each section. Each individual section has its own tone and feel, playing off the sensibility of the various lines themselves. The sharp wit and sophistication of their personality comes through in the catalog’s humorous copy and unusual propping choices.
