Scott Thares began his career as a design director
for the John Ryan Company, an international
retail marketing firm, where he worked from
the firm’s Sydney, Australia office. Upon his
return to the states, he accepted a position as
senior designer with the Minneapolis-based
design firm Design Guys. Thares work is in the
permanent collection of the Chicago Athenaeum:
Museum of Architecture and Design.

Richard Boynton began his career with the
Minneapolis-based design firms Design Guys,
and Haley Johnson Design. In 2009, Boynton
was the Design Director of Hunt Adkins,
a member of Ogilvy & Mather’s “Syndicate.”
His work is in the permanent collections of the
Library of Congress, the Cooper Hewitt National
Design Museum, and his wife Anne’s blog.
