The purpose of the Equipt catalog was to position Target as a viable resource for quality performance-driven sporting goods. However, since the average Target guest would not necessarily use the products in that manner for which they were intended, the catalog strikes a balances between the high-design/technological innovation aesthetic and fashion photography and cheeky humor of the products in a slightly skewed context. 1.8 million print run inserted into Sunday newspapers across the United States.
